PD prop worn out or not?
Kinda new to the mm world I'v got a 27 pd and my prop measures 11.5 from tip to tip. I know that the new ones measure 12.25. My question is will that .75 of an inch make that much difference?

Re: PD prop worn out or not?
I don't care what that says, I know three tape measures says it's 12.5 tip to tip.

Re: PD prop worn out or not?
They usually send them out pretty quick. I just got home and measured again (not that I didn't trust myself) and I still have 12 and 3/8's on mine and I've wore the paint off and hit the sand a couple times. Hell, they may have tolerances like B&S, some props might be 12" brand new. Either way anything under 12 with the cup gone off the tip is pretty much shot for my rig. I save those for when I know I'm gonna get into rocks and hard sand.

All of my new ones have been 12.7/16.
Get under 12 and its hurting bad.

Re: PD prop worn out or not?
Just ran across this thread while wondering why the hell boat seemed so slow.
Do you all notice having to trim the motor lower as you wear the prop?
I have a1750 gator trax with a stock 36pd and its only running 22-23 mph. My prop is in the 11.5" range.
