i have a gator tail 35 and going to get a new prop before hunting season i was looking in to the mud buddy prop but since they are not made for motors with reverse i was wondering if any one has one on a gator tail and how it pulls in reverse thanx for any information

I had tried a mud buddy big blade on my gtr and did not notice a difference.

Supposedly it runs a tad slower, but seemed to last slightly longer. I think both were due to the material being a lil thicker.

i held the mud budy prop in my hand this weekend and it was alot bigger than my buddys brand new gtr prop he went ry it today and it actally made his boat faster but said it had no reverse pull but his motor on a big skiff so i wanted to see what other ppl had to say

There was a great review on here about the MB vs GT prop. I believe it was before the server change tho

I'll just stick with the gator tail they last me about a year I don't want to buy a $250$ prop And lose speed

i couldnt tell any difference in retreat running the mb prop, didnt check speeds.

I run a big blade and it reverses just fine with it

Just a little follow up on my review. As mentioned in the review, the MB prop was more durable. However, once I started seeing prop wear on the MB, the performance seriously dropped off. A severly worn GT prop would perform better (hole shot, load, speed) than a MB prop with 1/4" wear.
