Project Bow Movement II

 Project Bow Movement III've spent the last 5 months converting a custom aluminum bass boat into a levee jumping, trail making, duck slaying machine. I picked the boat, motor, and trailer for $2,500 in May and have worked on it almost daily ever since. I just finished it this weekend and couldn't be happier with it. It's a 17x48 all 1/8th with with a hopped up 36 PD. Here's the pictures of the build. Re: Project Bow Movement II I took it out to Lake Martin yesterday and ran the trails around the perimeter of the lake. Everything ran great and that Gator Glide makes a big difference on logs, cypress knees, and thick vegetation. I had my girlfriend, a full tank of gas, and th second battery under the deck, plus nearly every tool I own for back up and ran 32mph across the lake. I'm interested to see if the gator glide will give me some top end with an empty boat.

Re: Project Bow Movement II No, I ordered the marsh brown color. You can get it in all sorts of obnoxious colors though, Red, yellow, green, etc. You just have to specify which one you want when you check out. The only ones I'd use are the black, grey, marsh brown and default graphite. This was a half gallon and I got 4 good coats out of it. Its so slippery stuff. I pushed my boat off with 2 fingers yesterday at the launch.

Re: Project Bow Movement II It was just a custom made side console rig. The first few pictures show how it was set up. They didn't know it at the time, but they were actually building a perfect duck boat hull. It was made by Toledo Marine in Shreveport, LA in 1996. Had a 75 Mercury on it originally with a perfectly flat bottom.

Re: Project Bow Movement II I paid $100 per 4x6 sheet. It came in 16'x4' sheets and this was drop off from an order where the guy only needed 10' lengths. I bought 4 sheets and used two for the floor, one for the deck and one crimped into the gas tank.
