Y'all should read the transcript of the debate. It really tells the story. Ryan couldn't get a word out without being interupted by Biden, though he showed restraint and gave Biden respect. There were several times the moderator cut Ryan off in the middle of a sharp jab against the Obama administration. Ryan did pretty good considering it was 2 on 1. I could barely stand watching Biden. So arrogant and rude - not presidential at all. I guess the best way of keeping your opponent from speaking - is not letting him speak.

It's funny that dguidry accused Romney of being rude - I wonder if he holds Biden to the same expectations?

You must have missed when this turned ugly at the point Ryan called the Vice President Joe instead of Mr. Vice President.....that was an absolute faux pas in terms of debate etiquette and it was intentional, calculated.

Last night proved to be interesting. Biden is an expert at spinning the lib lies, trying to instill fear, and attempting to camoufglage socialism as being good for the middle class. He had a tough time with covering up the chaos in Lybia, but did better on the economy.

You could tell that Ryan is young, and treading on a stage that is new to him. It appeared to me that he was debating the moderator and the VP at the same time. I think a little study will show the moderator to be in bed with the libs, and there was clearly a stacked deck.

The libs will chalk up a win for Biden, and while I will admit that he held his own much better than Obama, Ryan did not lose any ground for Romney.
