 Re: what a saturday...
If theres not a 3/8 bolt going throught the tiller base plate and the engine mounting plate right in front of the right back rubber mount (Between the block and the tiller) then there lies the problem! Call PD in the am, they'll get you back going.

 Re: what a saturday...
It takes the load off the mounts when exerting a downward force. ( simply put it keeps the mounts from breaking).

 Re: what a saturday...
preciate it.... looks like a bolt was never even put in. theres no scratches on da paint around da hole like it would've vibrated n backed out..

 Re: what a saturday...
Had similar issue. Only the bolt was not tightened on mine still broke the rubber bolts deals. Can't wait for that to happen in November in the cold while hunting or on a trip somewhere out of state.

 Re: what a saturday...
could you replace the rubber mounts with a teflon bushing and a 3/8 stud all the way through instead

 Re: what a saturday...
No problem...
Like preston said...
That bolt will limit the travel of that rubber isolator. So when you push down on your tiller handle, and you lift your motor up, the bolt takes all of the weight so the isolaters dont.

 Re: what a saturday...
and when you put the bolt in there you don't have to dog tighten it down, just tighten it up until it touches on both sides then give it a half a turn or so until its snug.
( use a lock nut! ) lol
