9hp GDLT on 1536 Weldbilt

 9hp GDLT on 1536 Weldbilt Hey my buddy is looking at a deal on a 1536 Weldbilt with a 9hp GDLT and i was wondering what speeds would you think this setup would get with two guys and hunting gear? Would it even get on plane. Where we hunt is flooded timber and marsh. Thanks for the info.

Re: 9hp GDLT on 1536 Weldbilt will push it but probably wont plane, talking 5mph or so, but better than walkin. My 16hp on a 1436 with that load does a little over 10mph

Re: 9hp GDLT on 1536 Weldbilt I will push the load fine but I doubt it will plain out, my 20 runs my 14 by 36 around 16-18 with two people and some gear.

empty i did 10 mph...
2 man hunt load was around 5-7 mph at best./...
