Well the season is almost over figured we could set up end of the season ride,
Wanna Say 2nd or 3rd of Feb, Not sure where or what the tides are lookin like, but i wanna see mud in my boat in the near future!!!

Looks like they are doing the Montegut ride that weekend. If anyone is interested in driving a little further. I'd love to make it but between hunting and work I won't be able to do anything anytime soon.

I'd like to do one here on the UPPER PEARL around the Jackson area in the early summer time. It's no mud but lots of vegatation and pretty things layed out on sand bars everywhere.

if somebody else want to make that ride to montegut id be down if theres some good mud.
But if ppl cant make it id be down to just go to the pearl agian.

I'm in for making another ride I had a good time on the pearl last time. It would be a lot better ride if we catch it when the tide is out. I'd love to ride new areas though just to learn some new stuff. I can make a ride anytime but that weekend though. Have 2 parades to ride in and my kids birthday party that weekend

Im coming from Jackson so i mean its a good ride for me anyways, but if yall would want to ride the montegut ride anyways i reckon thatll be fine, i dont know how much further that is but it would be more people/boats. any place to stay down there thats cheap?

How far is the place yall talking about riden from Jackson. It's two hrs for me to get to Jackson.

We rode the south pearl last time close to pearlington...I'm an hour south of Jackson and it took me about 2 - 2 1/2 hours

Y'all should have been out there today. Plenty of mud. My deeks were dry when I left the lease. Almost left too late had to dig out. Water gauge said -1.1 ft.

A forecasted tide chart for rigolets area: nothing too promising.
Saturday 1.26.13: -0.5 low at 10:00am
Sunday 1.27.13: -0.4 low at 10:20am

Saturday 2.9.13: -0.5 low at 9:45am
Sunday 2.10.13: -0.3 low at 10:15am

2.2.13 & 2.3.13 tides don't look too good & looking at temps, I'm not expecting strong north winds. Not sure if any of the above will result in mud flats.

At 0.5 you can find some good shallow water and a little mud anything 0 and below should be some good mud. Would just have to catch it early and hope for the best
