1854 PD 36 PD side console
MM Brand: PD Horsepower: 36 stock Boat Brand: PD Boat Size:1854 Boat Layout: Side console, ext. deck, hyd FPR, hyd steering Speeds | Shallow Water:27.7 Speeds | Deep Water: 25 Total Boat Load With Gear Etc:Me-220, Buddy-330, dog-40,gear-40, 6 gal gas Conditions Tested In:light to medium chop Comments: My first mud rig and very pleased to say the least. I can't say enough good things about the FPR. Hydraulic FPR on a console rig is even better and I'm very glad I bought it. I also love the hydraulic steering...zero effort no matter what I'm running in. Handles very well with a load or with just me in it. I think it may go a little faster as I'm new to the whole mudmotor thing. So far I always seem to have someone with me or it's windy as heck. This was a basic green PD rig when I bought it. Since then I've painted it, installed some lights and other gadgets and still plan to install Hydroturf. It may look pretty now, but I'm not afraid to sling some mud on it or get a scratch or two; I have still have some paint left over. BTW a great big Thank You to all the guys at Pro-Drive and to Mitschke for all his help and getting this thing up here to me. First class all the way.

Re: 1854 PD 36 PD side console
That's her new favorite plaything. When she's with me on the water I always get demoted to co-pilot. Ever seen a 3 yo drive a 36 pd? Putting Dora stickers on the boat is where I draw the line though.

Verah nice, verah nice. I like the side console, kinda gives it more room. Don't hardly see that.

Re: 1854 PD 36 PD side console
Actually my whole reason for the console is cuz I have tendonitis like you wouldn't believe. Last season even my little 25hp four stroke was about to kill me from hanging onto that tiller day after day. I can drive this thing with no problems at all. You're right though, I think a center console seems to take up more room.

Re: 1854 PD 36 PD side console
Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm not sure which cost more, the paint or the beer it took to get though it.

Re: 1854 PD 36 PD side console
That is one hell of a paint job. You got skills. How long did it take you to paint it? Hey is that prodrive stickers on the side and in the front or is that paint???

Re: 1854 PD 36 PD side console
looks like he had the stickers on it to begin with and sprayed the paint over the stickers and then pulled em off.
