Re: So how has your season been so far?
The first split was good, but the second split fricking sucked! The birds went back up north. My guess is with all the feed they sont need to come down, and it really dont matter about how cold it gets they just not coming down. I killed more ducks at 70 Deg weather than when its cold ass shit. Thanks to DU for fucking us boys down south!

Re: So how has your season been so far?
Been grinding it out all season with a 11.93 bird per hunt average. Had a couple steller hunts, several bad bad hunts, and a whole lot of so so hunts. 46 days so far. I'll make it 48 by Sunday. Most I've ever hunted. Fewest we have killed in several years.

Re: So how has your season been so far?
I found a good number of birds today in an area that wasn't closed to hunting for a change. Sucks it is the last weekend to get after them

Re: So how has your season been so far?
I found a spot today that's holding around 250+ Ringneck. Kinda weird I've never seen that many in a group. especially on such a small piece of water

I didn't start hunting until the 2nd split. I got hooked on bow hunting but I must say my season was awesome. NOTE: This is all public marsh.

We slaughtered them first split. Early second split we were still killing ducks. From about Christmas on till the end it was rough.

Re: So how has your season been so far?
The first split was good we limited out most hunts on our lease. The second split that was a diffrent story there limits were very far an few between. I"d be willing to say that the whole second split we only limited 2 or 3 tinmes. It was a far cry from the many limits shot last year out of the same lease
