 Need advice on longtail
Have the opportunity to buy a used 2006 27hp Mud Buddy longtail mud motor. Hours are 108, price is 1700, would this be a good buy? Thanks for your help!

 Re: Need advice on longtail
I suspect there is a reason it's been 5 days and you have zero answers. What is the condition of the prop? How are the seals, bearings and shaft, What are the rpms in and out of the water? Does it start and run? Does it have a Tach? How far from a dealer or source of service are you? Why is the guy getting rid of it? Have you put it on your boat and tried it out? I'm sure there are others that have additional questions. Help us out please so maybe someone can give you an educated estimate.
