Post GD prop tool - DIY

Had hell getting my prop off. So I built this tool out of a 2.6" outer spindle nut socket. I used a die grinder to cut out the grooves that matched the 3 blade perfect. still had to use heat, but it worked like a champ. Now I'm going to try the 2 blade!

Socket was 9.99 at oreillys

May be a dumb question but what stops the shaft from spinning as you spin the prop off? Did you use an impact wrench or big breaker bar?

Take the prop nut off (or loosen it up quite a bit) crank your motor up rev it up a few times pull the kill switch I do this my LT and it works.
