my buddy is running stock props that he has baggy add pitch to..
like a 12x14.
I rather stay at a stock prop size and pitch and just turn the motor down and have the power to turn it in the thick stuff

i know he is a legend for outboard props
I will measure my old prop I had from ben and take a pic of it..
it had a lot of cup in it... pushed better in the mud than a stock prop and handled a load better

Re: After market props for 36 pd? Damn, all this talk about performance loss with the wear. The last run I made, I was around 34 at 4950, and had a good amount of throttle left. When I got home I measured my prop and it was 11.75". Hell a new prop should allow me to run WFO and it should also lower my rpms.
On that run, my trailtech tach has a high rev setting. When you kill engine, it will flash the highest rpm you hit in that run time. It was flashing 5400, so from what yall are saying, I need a new prop.
