I wanted to show just how easy it was to install a MMP Double Barrell muffler. The muffler gives the engine a nice lope....almost liked a cammed up V-twin. I did not get any more MPH on top end, but I did notice the throttle became more responsive which was nice.

I am very impressed with the sound, and the muffler is very high-quality.

Everyone who has seen/heard it has been very impressed.

Is this muffler up to par with the EVT muffler?

Peck was running one the other day, it was a prototype for these guys. I liked the way it sounded. I'm sure they offer a quiet muffler at EVT, but this MMP muffler was alot less obnoxious, and more "mellow", just like they are advertising. looked pretty solid.

I also have a prototype and have had it on my 35 MB Sport for about a month the install is easy, mounts are well thought out, the exhaust is not sticking up in the air( nice and compact), sound is low and mellow no high pitched screaming sounds under acceleration, great flow under acceleration. I recommend this product. My .02

I wonder if they need someone with a Stage 1 PD to run a prototype????

My 35 MB Sport is a stage 1. Don't know if the PD 36 stage 1 would be that much different.

I tested the exhaust with my motor. It has cam, pistons, valve springs, and mikuni. It will run 4800 in water pushing a 18x50 gatortrax hunt deck. I am waiting on a set of heads from GatorTail now.

Glider: You win I can't imagine that anything short of a 454 would be a better test for that double barrel exhaust of yours.

I am hoping the heads will help. I'm also going to port the intake this week.

Have had lots of inquiries about possibility of Gator Tail mount. How about it???????

how does dat double barrell stuff work any way. it seems like it would be restrictive

I am making one for GT now It will be the same design with a heat shield added.
