 16 hp prop question????? Jist ordered thos duromax 16hp. Should I put a 8x4 prop or 9x5??

Re: 16 hp prop question????? 8x4 from Back water. Good price and guaranteed to be balance tested. I ran the same prop on all of my 16hp home builds and had a lot of success with them.

Re: 16 hp prop question????? I ran an 8x4 on the same engine, put a carb, air filter an exhaust on it and thought it had the ability to turn more

Re: 16 hp prop question????? I am trying the 8x5 option from Hill Marine. I have the same engine and a GD longtail frame . Reason I am going with 8x5 is that I am using a 13.5 ft lightweight boat and light loads.

Re: 16 hp prop question????? I think its the 54" shaft. Mine is a 5 hp that I converted but had to do a lot of mods to make it fit but a this 16 should bolt right up to that 12.5. Measure ur shaft height and that will tell u.
