I don't know many of these guys, but they are trying to make a difference on one of our local lakes, so I'll be there to help out.

They think they are going to show up and have airboats be the Majority. I would love to show up with a group of 15-20 mud boats and show them out.

Lake Jackson got a good bit of rain water recently, but still alot of shallow water(hard bottom though) riding available out there. Just take a trash bag with ya and if you see something, stop to pick it up.

Guys and Gals,
It is time to make a positive presence in the Tallahassee Area and Lake Jackson just so happens to be full of garbage. This would be a great opportunity for us to make a positive impact on our community as well as clean up one of our favorite places to ride. I am starting this thread to look for ideas and take input. We are going to tentatively schedule it for May 4th. I want to reach out to the airboat community and see what kind of participation we are going to get before going all out so please let me know (on here) whether you can come and how many will be coming with you. Also, pass the word to anyone that you know does not visit SA. And if you normally don't voice your opinion on the open forum, that is fine. Just shoot me a PM. I hope this turns out to be successful!

Meet/Greet/ drool over boats
Cook what you bring. We will provide the fire (grill)

Jackson will be good!!! go ride then park out in the middle of crowder should be wast deep and party, might find some costas, i know some are out there, last year when i was doing that found like a old hat"nasty", and over a box worth of shells not that they were good, but ppl lose plenty of stuff out there like my hat and keys. other than that not too much garbage out there. and plenty of skinny water, Dont know how mic is but seems like theres already gonna be a crowd at Jackson. I may be able to make it depends on exams.

It's right off hwy 27 on the Southwest side of the lake. If it doesn't work out, the Talquin swamp is a ten minute ride ...

Kmy last day is may 11th. And i rode jackson sunday. It was a fun ride. The pads are out in force due to the warm weather, lots of grass and skinny flat water

I'm out. I got a nice grading job that I have to do on a weekend and its gonna rain here sat and sun. Gotta go make that green next weekend.

A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. Winds from the East at 10 to 15 mph.

bbb - I'll have a rider with me, how many are you looking to have at the moment? When's lunch?

Most will start arriving at 11. Lunch around 12-12:30. Head counts I'm still unsure of.

I think if we can can get 7-10 mud rigs out there, we'll match the airboats. Not sure what I'm bringing yet though.
