 Gator-Tail 20x60 w/Dual GTR's 35 question
Hey y'all I am looking for some input on this boat/setup. I was originally looking to buy a 17x54 with GTR 35, but considering the majority of my buddies have this size setup I don't think its personally worth it (to me) to add another boat this size to the group since I have access to them. This lead me to consider the larger rig.
Since hunting season is only a few months out the year I want a larger, more spacious boat for fishing/bowfishing that will offer me the best of both worlds. I will be fishing Venice, Delacroix, Cocodrie, etc. Don't mind spending the extra money, I believe I will get more use, personally, out of this boat all around. Not interested in a typical outboard, sticking to mud motor, just looking for that perfect cross fit rig.
Would enjoy everyone's input and/or experience on these boats, or anything else you think might be useful.

If I had enough friends with duck boats I sure as hell wouldn't own a duck boat! Remember: The only thing better than a jetski is a friend with a jetski.

Only thing I can say is if you plan on using it for fishing and hunting, dont be tempted to deck it over too much for the fishing, because you will want the open floor space for hunting season.
If you want to go crazy with the deck space for fishing, look into making as much of it removable as possible, IMO.
Good Luck.

Once you push the throttles on a dual you don't want a single lol

Decide what it is that you will use the boat for 90% of the time, and build/buy based on that. You can live with the other 10%.
