 Re: 17-50 dead fowl
I am curious as to how the Gen4 onboard battery charger operates... What source of power do you feed to it? Cranking battery? I have tried looking up the website but they dont have a lot of information on the operation of it.

 Re: 17-50 dead fowl
It only charges when it's plugged into a 120 volt outlet but it's waterproof and being a 4 bank it will charge my 2 trolling batteries and my other 2 batteries that will stay in boat all the time.

 Re: 17-50 dead fowl
Yeah I know wtf am I thinking!!! We'll the 2 kinetics only weigh 15 pounds a piece and have 650 cca and 800 amps apiece so that's what I run during hunting season. They discharge fairly quick but charge in a blink of an eye! And it was on 23 bucks more for a 70 pound tolling over a 55 so couldn't say no to that even though it was a 24 volt considering when I fish the river I will need the 70 so that's y 4 batteries it's crazy I will admit it

 Re: 17-50 dead fowl
They are crazy for there size! They are what a lot of car audio guys run. They pack a huge punch for their size! You can mount them however you want other than up side down they don't recommend that! It had the 600 in my last boat which had 600 cca and 750 amps and weighed 14 pounds, but bc of winch and all I decided to run the 700's plus when run them together you have 1300 cca and 1600 amps all in a small package and weighing 30 pounds

 Re: 17-50 dead fowl
I may have to invest in one. id like to get some weight out of the ass end of my boat. and congrats on the rig man. rj did an awesome job on the boat and im impressed with the rigging. its one of..if not THE tightest boats on here.
