Hoping that the prayers for your mom can reverse this condition that no one wants to ever hear that they have it. May the medical staff be guided by all those prayers also.

Please pray for me and my family! My beautiful mother who was only 69 yrs. Old passed away September 15, 2013. My mother was an amazing woman and the core of the family. She was a caring person who never turned anyone away if they needed help. I remember growing up there were people I Didn't even know eating with us at the table. She always taught us the meaning of life and how important family was. My mother was and always will be a blessing for my family. She took care of my daugther for 3yrs while me and my wife had to work. My daughter had a great bond with her grandmother it was amazing. My mother spoiled her so much and gave her everything she wanted. My daughter was so slick all she had to do was call her if she wanted something. The Lord called his Angel home on September 15 but I wish I had her back!! I am not sure why good people have to die and the bad ones could live there entire lives with no remorse about anyone or themselves. The Great Lord and my kids and wife give me strength everyday to move on and knowing she has no more pain, trips to the emergency room and taking so much medication is so compelling. I am sad writing this espicially knowing that Thanksgiving is tomorrow and Christmas is coming up. I could write a whole book about my mom and her legacy but I will stop now. God bless you and your family.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my mom on July 23rd and its been hard. I won't tell you it will get better because it will hurt for a long time. Everyday someone or something will remind you of her. That's because she has touched you and so many others. Its ok to mourn the life of a great woman take your time. You will never forget her and she will always be in your heart. I hope that time can lessen the pain.

I lost my dad in 2007 and my mom is in a nursing home bed not knowing who she is or who her kids are or were. She has Alzheimer's. It is like she died 4 years ago. But she did not. Now she is just drawing up in the fetal position. She looks 30 years older than she did when my dad died.

I wish my dad could have lived a few years longer when mom's brain totally went and they could have died the same way they always been--together. It does not matter when your parents die, you will talk about them every holiday anyway as if they died on that holiday. We remember all the things that make us laugh about them. Hope it helps you to know that so many have gone through it. Part of life. Do not feel bad about how you feel.
