Post New Briggs 2100 Copperhead
Just curious if anyone knows how the new Briggs 2100 copperheads are running?
Speeds?
12 LCT vs 2100? Any difference? Any preference?
Any info at all is appreciated

Thanks!

Id like to know if the parts are interchangeable with other 420cc engines to modd it out.

My buddy just replaced his with the Briggs. I have no idea about actual speed numbers, but he said it felt stronger. I'll see if I can get him to chime in on this thread.

I just replaced my 12 LCT with the Briggs, and so far I like it. Keep in mind, my experience with the engine is extremely limited...I just replaced it last week and have only put it in the water once since then. That being said, I did notice a slight increase in power and possibly a slight increase in speed. I didn't have my GPS, so I can't say for sure. What I can tell you with certainty is that it's a noticeably smoother, quieter engine than the LCT.

That's a plus, the 12 lct was louder than my 23 and would jar you to crap on a long ride.

We will have the Cooperhead 23 Van, 18 Van and 14 Kohler all on the water this weekend at our first Spring Demo Event, come out and run one for yourself. I tested the 23 with Gil last summer and we were impressed and that was before he had a prop worked out for it.
