 Briggs Problem
I have a 16hp Briggs Twin onb a 2000 longtail go-devil. My problem is it runs perfect wide open for about 150yds then bogs down, it dose'nt kill just throttles down. I pump the ball and it runs fine. Just had carb cleaned and new fuel pump. I heard that it could be low on oil. Could it be fuel tank or filter???Any help??

 Re: Briggs Problem
Sounds like it may have a bad connection at tank or in the tank pick up tube. Does it do it with a full tank? For best fuel flow we hook fuel line directly to carb and tank with out squeeze bulb, and carry squeeze bulb in boat as a back up source of primming carb, in case of fuel flow problems.

 Re: Briggs Problem
Check to make sure gas tank vent is open. I ran into a guy on the lake that had the same issue and the vent on the tank was closed all the way.
