Re: Well that didn't take long...
I just thought I was hard on stuff!
Its good to see that other people actually use their equipment. Everytime I get a new truck I try to put a dent or scratch on it in the first week so I'll quit babying it!

Re: Well that didn't take long...
Now the 2nd PD was a boss. Only bent up two skegs, snapped the bolts on the shaft coupler, and broke a blade off the prop. Put that thing through and it kept kickin.

Re: Well that didn't take long...
I do also actually my belt housing has a gouge in it from it turning so sharp. It gives me a lil more turning radius . Owen when you finish tearing shit up just let gt know maybe after your r&d they will have a indestructible motor lol

Re: Well that didn't take long...
99% of them that are actually drive hard have those scares. PD has a similar scare on the port trim arm from the tiller mounting plate.

Re: Well that didn't take long...
That's right, stab it and steer it! Until a 3' fukin stump rips the motor out of your hand, bends the skeg and the bump stops. Then pop your arm into socket and repeat Owen you're gonna break way more chit than the average bear because of your deep down undying love for your PD's and wanting to prove the GTR wrong...lol! By the time you're finished at least we'll really know which one stands up to punishment better.

You'll be putting a bushing on your tiller before long, that's another weak link.

Re: Well that didn't take long...
Look at that top tab and it's relation to the prop, and then you realize why it needs to be straight and what it's for.
