Hey guys, built a 3.5hp longtail for my 12x32 jon. building a gear reduction for it now cuz the motor cant pull the prop i got. wondering what size prop yall would recommend for the motor. right now im usin a machete 3 blade trollin motor prop. im pretty sure that its gunna break the first stump i hit so i want to find a steel one. the frame i built is built like a tank out of 1/4 steel and tubing with a boat seat swivel. Il post pics when i get the reduction mounted. thanks in advance for any advice.

save ya self some money and get u a bigger lg tail i got a friend that runs a 27 kohler on a 12 ft jon boat better off finding a 9 hp lg tail that is made already in imo

yeah im savin for a new boat/motor rig. this is just a time waster to hold me over and just to see if i could. But thanks for the suggestion
