Post Size of rope for winch
Do any of you guys use 1/4 inch synthetic on you winches? I think it is good up to 5500 lbs. I am just looking to get more capacity than the 50 ft of steel cable that it comes with. I think I can squeeze 100 ft of the 1/4 inch.

I have synthetic on my promark 50' I think. Sorry dont know the size. I got it b/c it won't rust and is lighter. 100' won't fit mine, wish it did.
