On the Gatortail promo video right at the 8:10 mark there was no reverse brake handle! Anyone heard anything about this? Not going to be too long and was going to build a CC rig and really didn't feel like jacking with the reverse pedal.

That's what it looked like to me he reached up on front of motor flipped a switch and started backing up.

That would be nice wonder if we will be able to convert our older motors over.

Yeah I got my eye on that. Wanna upgrade my reverse if that happens.

Really easy. Cost $ 500. installation off a hydraulic pump and converting the switch to a 3 way. top forward, mid neutral, bottom reverse.

Had my boat mechanic give me and estimate to do it. When he added his labor it was around $ 900 so I passed.

I'm sure GT could do it much cheaper than that during the assembly

I would rather the leaver than the switch seems like it would get yanked out ur hand if it got cought on something and throw you out the boat. But he'll if they will make them like that I pretty sure there going to test the hell out of them .

Even cheaper way to do it is get an electric trailer brake pump. It's for large trailers with disc brakes.

I actually had to watch it a couple times to figure out what's going on. He had already locked the lever in to place when the reversing clip started.

I bet 500 dollars that they will come out with one in the next year and a half Anyone want to take that bet

Just because you see something on one engine somewhere doesn't necessarily mean it will be offered to the public.

One I saw was in testing phase, we discussed adding it to mine
