 Gun Sleeve
Anyone ever used Mud Buddy's gun sleeve or have one on their boat? Thinking about buying one for my rig. Was wondering how they hold up. Here is the link for them. http://www.mudbuddy.com/Store%20specifi ... 0Spec.html

 Re: Gun Sleeve
I bought one along with the life jacket bag last year. Both items are great. Unless they have changed the design, which I don't think they have, the sleeve will touch the floor of your boat if the sides are less than 22" or so. It is not really a problem though because the guns are still above the boat floor. I still use a floating drake gun case with mine and put the whole thing in the sleeve.
The gun sleeve is kinda like hydroturf---I'll never have a duck boat without either one.

 Re: Gun Sleeve
Are you just looking for something to keep your guns off the floor?

 Re: Gun Sleeve
I thought about putting one in my boat, too. Think I may just get some 2" strap and make some loops and screw that to the side since we carry our guns in the floating gun cases.

 Re: Gun Sleeve
Guys, I think the drake floating gun case is the best on the market. I like the side opening feature on it so that I can dry it out completely. I either store it in the gun box, with the latch open or tuck it in the gutter. it might not be off the floor but its a bit more versitale for my needs. just my .02 though...

 Re: Gun Sleeve
Drake make nice gear. But you can just slide the end opening style over a boot dryer for fast drying if needed. I wouldn't keep a gun in a case for anything other than transport no matter what brand it is though.

 Re: Gun Sleeve
Here is a couple pics of what I did. 2"x3' straps. Could put 3 guns w/case in straps if needed.
