Shaft Size of a 27hp Go Devil Longtail?
Does anyone know the shaft size on a 27 hp Go Devil brand longtail or how I could find out what it is on mine. I'm trying to order a new prop.

If you are gonna order straight from Go-Devil just tell them you want the 9x7 or give them you serial # and they can tell you what you need to know.

It's most likely 3/4 but the diagram has a ? by the part number. ? denotes call with serial # and model.

Do I got my answer the first time I wasn't asking again just trying to explain that I wasn't being an jacka** by the second post. But obviously you don't understand and for that I am sorry. Please don't tell me to call go devil again I already have the information I need. And thanks for all of your help.

This time read this info more slowly. Regardless if you are getting a prop from Go-devil or not call them and give them your info and they will tell you the prop size so you can get one elsewhere. That's all.

Re: Shaft Size of a 27hp Go Devil Longtail?
Seriously though, what kind of speeds are you getting with your setup? I have a 1644 and am getting around 17 to 18 gps with my prop worn down to 8 inches. I was just wondering if I should expect more speed or just low end torque with the new prop?

Re: Shaft Size of a 27hp Go Devil Longtail?
Damn dude. Looks like nobody had much input and I fuckin tried to help you. Just telling you to call the manufacturer and they would hook you up with the info. I was loking at a damn schematic as I typed and offered the most feasible information I could. Yeah I could measured mine but then again I didn't know if you had the same year model as me or if things changed over the years. Then you go off and tell me to suck it. I help newbees out every chance I can, but shit like this really fucks this site up. I forgot more about a longtail than you will ever learn, son.

Re: Shaft Size of a 27hp Go Devil Longtail?
Oh my bad I though you were just joking around when you were being a azz, sorry guess I didn't figure and almighty longtail father such as yourself would get he panties in a wad over a little joking back and forth that you started. Please don't get your blood pressure up over my posts I was just kidding back and in fact not trying to be a legitimate azz, I guess apparently you were? So let me clear it all up for you, first of all I really do appreciate your advice, second of all I wasn't trying to be a jerk when said "what if I'm not getting it from go devil" it was merely a response to the first part of your statement when you said "if you are getting it from go devil..." because I was looking to buy a prop from a guy online. Third I had called go devil be for I even posted the first post and they wanted my serial number before she would talk to me, she didn't tell me why, being that my boat is at my camp I got on here and was trying to find out if there was a "standard" size, now I know there is not.

Re: Shaft Size of a 27hp Go Devil Longtail?
First, of all I was not being and ass.
Second, I restated what I said because obviously you did not see the word "or" in my statement. 1. meaning telling them you want a 9 x 7
or if you don't wannna get it from them
2. Give them your serial # and they could tell you your required info.
