Post Changing Over!
I am really considering changing over to P.D. from m.b.. I currently run a 1854 gator trax guide edition with a 5000 on it and unfortunately it runs like a champ but for various personal reasons I want to ditch the mudbuddy. My question is how has everybodies experience with E.V.T. been because no matter what a stock 36 isn't going to have what I am looking for to push my heavy a$$ rig with a load. I was looking at all their kits from level I-III. What do you guys feel would be the best choice to get for pushing my rig with leaving the headaches out of it (reliability), & trust me I have already dealt with quirks of a modded motor and breakdowns. If I had any sense at all I would just do a 36 with a carb & mufflers and be done with it. I have heard a lot of negative feed back about doing the heads to?

If your gonna switch motors, consider swiching boats also.

If I were you I'd consider getting a new boat if you were going to go with a PD. But if you want to keep the boat I would call Ryan and have him put his stock PD on your boat to see how it ran. Then have Ryan get a hold of me and we can put my stage 3 PD on and see how it runs. Then you can see how Ryan's PD rig runs and how my rig runs with our motors and make a decision from there. I have known a couple of guys with PD's on Gator Trax's and they all ended up selling their boats.

WOO HOO!... I'm so happy for you however I have to ask you kindly not to.. You buying a PD would bring the collective IQ of PD owners down drasticly...

Case you weren't sure I said please remember this one word for future reference... dumbass

Not sure what you heard about head work but if its done right you won't have to deal with the chronic valve leakage from the stock Briggs heads. You will also get your valves springs shimmed so you can run higher RPM.

I've had Stage I heads from EVT for 50 hours and as was stated above, should have done it sooner. You can do it all in stages but you will get the most out of the carb and exhaust with head work before going into the internal mods.
