May be a dumb question about pods
Testing my boat tomorrow with the backh20 pods on. Do you guys ever have problems with logs knocking the plugs out of them. I can just picture going slow over a stump and sheering one of them off.

Find a drive that will fit on the inside and turn the plug inside/out. Problem solved!! Brilliant!!!

Re: May be a dumb question about pods
No I can't put them in from the inside. They are aftermarket and I welded them on. I am half tempted to thread them so I can screw a plug in. I have one drain hold and that is back center of boat. It is a pos riveted tracker not a costum

I have rubber plugs and have never had issue. You could buy this type of plug (below), the tab bends down, unlikely to get knocked out. http://www.cheaperthandirt.net/product/ ... 4AodXzwAtA

Tap and plug them is the way to go did that to my first set. the plugs either got knocked out or just leaked.

Re: May be a dumb question about pods
Measure the hole and get an expandable rubber freeze plug from a parts store. No edges/handles or lock tabs to snag and get pulled out, just a 7/16 nut to loosen to pop it out if you need to drain them.

Re: May be a dumb question about pods
Thanks for the replies. I had the 3rd one knocked out this morning when I was scouting. I called Arlen at backh2o. That guy is a plethora of knowledge. He said cork will work. So that's that I guess. Covered up in blue wings up here. They are making there way down to you guys.
