 Best quick connect fuel fitting?
I have a 3 gallon tank I usually run, and I also have a 6 gallon that I would like to swap when I know I have alot longer run to make. What would you guys suggest for the best quick connect fitting I can get my hands on? Thanks, Jim

I use a yamaha fitting and run a 24 Honda. I have read somewhere of the Mercury OMC fittings causing problems with fuel stravation but dont quote me on that.

I have had pretty good luck with Nissan and Force?, I think. They are in line and metal. I think the Force type was a lot cheaper, from the same manufacturer, and that's why I went with them.

I know I had a brand new quick connect leak air the very first time I ever used it... it looked like a quick-connect air hose fitting.

Re: Best quick connect fuel fitting?
forget da QC's... barb fitting and hose clamp.
Just put a damn 6 gal. tank in and be done with it. After a while you'll forget all about ur nutty idea of swappin tanks to begin with.

Re: Best quick connect fuel fitting?
10-4 I guess I'll just take some extra gas. I like the three gallon tank because it fits real nice in between my transom braces, looks like it was meant to be.. And I rarely make long runs, so the six gallon is overkill for what I do 80% of the time. Thanks for the insight fellas.
