Post Trim
Could someone possibly take a picture of their manual trim setup for a surface? Most importantly what the bolt rest against on the motor.

Im building my own surface drive but I however did not find a surface drive specific forum. Im curious how the trim bolt which is used to adjust manually is mounted or the way it contacts the main part of the motor frame.

Don't do it like copperhead. Seems like its going to eat a hole in the belt house after a few years.

you are right but you could use it as a manual trim setup all you would have to do is set the plate to dig and move the bump stop. making the two work against each other.

Trim screw on copperhead is no where near the belt box, it pushes against 1/2" thick trim bracket.
