How to know if GTR35 rear seal is bad?
How can you tell if the rear seal (one by the prop) on a GTR 35 is bad??
I was backing the trailer into the garage, went a little too far hit a bike rack/drywall. Fuckin' dumb ass!!!!!!! Made a good sized hole in the drywall. The end of the prop shaft has a little drywall dust. Other than that no visible damage. I took the prop off and the shaft had some grease on it (probably leaves factory like that?). Wiped it off with a paper towel.
I turned it on and when to full throttle (in gear). Is it normal to just have a tiny bit of grease on the prop shaft by the rear seal? How will I know if something is damaged?
Thanks.

You don't blow the seal by not taking out the screw. It's a backwards seal so you can't blow it. Put some hours on it I'm sure nothing is wrong. Pump some grease in it if it has water in the grease then maybe it's bad. I would be more worried about bending the shaft or prop. Put it in gear on the trailer make sure it's balanced
