 Re: mud buddy airboats
I wouldn't buy it even if it was the best design out there. Business ethics means more to me than a good product

 Re: mud buddy airboats
Have ta imagine the south la and fl builders have a better idea of what is necessary for an airboat than excel... The few excel boats I've seen left me less than impressed

 Re: mud buddy airboats
If your wanting a small airboat I'd talk to memeber BrLcla on here. He had an aircooled engine on one but switched it for an 1.4l automotive engine.

Those spiders are impressive, pricey, but impressive. I've got a video out there of one yanking on a pd.
Light boat runs about 30.

 Re: mud buddy airboats
Dragon fly is a totaly spereate company from Mud buddy, seperate owners. Air ranger does make the mini's still, BRCLAs is over there right now get some touch ups, hell for the money he's spent on that little boat he could have bought a new one. If i was to buy a mini i would go with the Lil Gator from Alumitech out of Florida, course i would have them just do the hull and rigging and i would put my own modified motor(built 35 Briggs) in it. They have the best design as far as mini airboats in my opinion.
