got my home built long tail almost done now but need a little help with deciding what prop to buy. This is my first build and i don't want to screw it up. It will be going on an 8 hp motor with a 60 inch shaft, and pushing a 1436 jon boat. as of right now i think im going to go with the 7x4 from backwaterinc. my question is, is this a good choice for my situation? any other recomendations for getting the right prop? an imput will be helpfull.
