It looks heavy though, it's going to sit very low in the water.

It seems all that space taken up by beds is not a good plan. Why not have fold down set up so you can recover all that space when the beds are not in use?

It should Float just fine a have 6 Plastic Dock Floats down the Center that will float 671 LBS Each. I will post pics of it in the Water. Also the only time you need to be Inside is to Shower and Sleep. The rest of the time will be spent Hunting and on the Front Porch.
