 well some advice needed?
i have an 11 hp lt that weighs around 160...just wondering if it would be to heavy for an 14ftx36 inch boat with 18 sides?..... and will i be able to stand up to operate the motor with the boat this narrow? just needing advice to see if i should get a riveted 14 x 38....

I run an old 9.5 go devil on a 14x40 riveted jhon and I have alot of capacity to spare. it gets around pretty good.

Yep, your boat will handle it. Standing up and operating it all depends on you. If ya think you can handle it than roll with it. I had one that was 18 x 36 with a 23 on it and it took a little getting used to but it wasnt bad at all standing and running.

I run a 27hp Beavertail LT on a 14' 48"... It could use pods but I have been able to get places I never imagined I would be hunting... Your boat will deffinately handle it!

i had a 14x36 with a 16hp it and it did awesome

I just bought a 23 gdlt and put it on my 1436 yesterday, ran it yesterday afternoon and it was perfect! ran like a bat out of hell

If it were me, I would make sure that I had a good grab bar and a kill switch that works for dang sure.
