 Re: Gator Glide
Wasn't to hard the boat was scraped up all ready I had them unhook from their truck and then winch away. That way the boat stays put and the trailer moves under the boat.

I love going to the boat ramps around here on Labor day and Memorial day. You see all of the funny shit on those days. Sometimes we bring chairs and sit back and watch the show.

I almost want to buy some and apply it on the a heavily traveled spot on the floor of walmart and sit back, video, and laugh. I think It would pay itself off in a couple ass bust's

 Re: Gator Glide
That gator glide is slick as owl shit. I lost my boat off of the trailer yesterday in my yard, fucked up a brand new paint job of the driver side of the boat. All i could do was laugh at my self. I was bring the boat around the yard to the carport crusing at about 2 MPH and had a slight side incline and before I knew it I seen the boat start sliding off the side.

 Re: Gator Glide
Im fixing to place my order how much stronger is the G4? and how much slicker is the G2? i was going with the G4 but now im having second thoughts as to wether it will perform like the G2 does.

So, how much Acetone is needed to wipe down one boat after sanding? Doing two boats.

 Gator Glide
Home Depot had quart and gallon cans. If I needed two quarts, I was going to buy the gallon for the same price. If I can get a away with one quart for both boats, that would be my route.

 Re: Gator Glide
I see a lot of reports of how this stuff does on trailers and Lilly's, but how does it perform in straight mud compared to not having it all?

From what I have read, no marked improvement in straight up muck.

 Re: Gator Glide
It does happen quick! I forgot to put the raised roller on. I'm used to dry unloading but not on the concrete ramp. My boy rode it all the way down like a champ. It's hard to see in this poor pic but he's laughing at my dumbass. Pushed it about another 15 feet and off we went.

 Re: Gator Glide
Frog:
Is there any benefit going up higher on the sides? I went up[ about 4". Shit works great. When I get into some really tall lillies, I can still get through with out a problem, but they do drag further up the sides. Thought about going up to the crimp or is it worth it.

 Re: Gator Glide
If Lillies are touching it, you've got drag, and if it's draggin, it's slowin ya down. I'm up to the crimps on mine.

 Re: Gator Glide
Just do entire boat .. Except decks... Lol .. Who is gonna be the first to journey into it
Wouldn't have to worry about mud on inside or out , not more problems with Lillie or vegetation .. Then you could name the boat "astro glide" no shit will stick ever again
