 Carstons canvasback with surface drive
Anyone ever put a copperhead 12 on one, or any surface drive. Does it sink the rear too much and what speeds you get!

I'm interested in this setup too.

Re: Carstons canvasback with surface drive
I'm leaning more towards the EBADS from 4 rivers now, still very little reviews of these hulls with the smaller copperheads. Just for public knowledge the 13' gheenoe can't plane even with the 14hp copperhead. And yes the 12' phowler sneak is awesome but shipping it NJ is 1/2 the actual boat price. Options suck in northeast.

I've seen a four rivers run with a 10 hp Dixie. It did really well with 2 men and hunting gear.
