Re: Looking to get a new frame
You were also here to lie about not being affiliated with the company who is building your motor.

Re: Looking to get a new frame
No one wants to see your motor man. Hell, by the looks of the mayhem website they don't even want to show anyone a full shot of the motors they build. Plus, if I understand correctly after going back and rereading this whole thread, the guy who started this thread already made the wise choice of ordering a BW frame.

Re: Looking to get a new frame
Start your own thread about how awesome your new motor is. I chimed in on this thread, like a few other back water owners to tell this guy he would make the right decision buying a BW frame. Three pages later you still are trying to promote that shop project of a motor you are getting. I still am finding humor in your not understanding getting called out as a troll.

Re: Looking to get a new frame
You serious, the boys from BW worked for beavertail. He designed the predator frame for them. So I would say they have been around for awhile.

Re: Looking to get a new frame
They left beavertail due to some differences of opinions with new ownership and when the innovations they envisioned were waived off. Beavertail was sticking to the design they had. And that's fine, because BW is using a superior design. They bring years of experience together with some outside the box thinking and BOOM! They have some badass motors coming out of their shop.

Re: Looking to get a new frame
So you're a pro staffer and don't even have one of their motors? You're promoting a product you don't even own yet? Very smart

Re: Looking to get a new frame
I'll take a BT over what they are making. I see a lot of shitty welds and painted over slag on the few pictures they have on their FB page.

Mayhem, you seriously are doing yourself no favors here. The more you post the less intelligent you seem.

Re: Looking to get a new frame
All credibility of your opinions are lost (regardless of the quality or lack of with the brand) when you offered an opinion that didn't answer the question of the person that started this thread. And you have spent the better part of 4 pages talking about your motor, mayhem, and posting pics. If you want to share, start your own thread, and let the people answering the OP answer him. He specifically asked about backwater. You stated another option, but then went on to provide all sorts of info he didn't ask for. Stop trolling his thread, show a little respect to the OP, and share your build with those that may or may not be interested in it, and mayhem in general. Mayhem isn't looking good right now by making you a "pro-staffer", and then you behave on this site as you have. Isn't the idea of a pro-staff to present the company they represent in a professional manner and drum up interest? Acting this way doesn't fulfill that goal. If this is how mayhem would like to be represented, then so be it, I reckon. Just food for thought.
And, btw, if you have an argument to this, then apparently you aren't listening, because I have not once said anything either way about the quality of your motor or their design.
Edit: My opinion above stands, but i see you have at least now started your own thread. Thank you for that.

Re: Looking to get a new frame
Mayhem is garbage. I wouldn't run one of them hunks a shit if you gave it to me. Good lord. Looks like somebody got a flux core mig from harbor freight for Christmas and a buddy at a fab shop with a water jet in it... Yet another block buster mud motor to make its way out of Utah...

Mayhem, you should be a SPS dealer. They are more durable.

Re: Looking to get a new frame
Well fellas sorry i got everyone in a big argument over all this. But I just wanted to let ya know I have ordered a BW frame and it will be here on Thursday!! I can't wait!!! The guys up there are very nice and answered all my dumb newbie questions that I had to throw at them! They went out of their way to contact me after their working hours and he even paid for express shipping out of his own pocket because the motor was behind schedule and he knew I was wanting it to be here and running by Saturday for the opener of the second half of our duck season here in oklahoma! My hat is off to these gentlemen for busting ass and making this happen for me! I'm sure the motor will be awesome as well! Can't wait!! And I'm with the rest if y'all on the mayhem motors.. They are a little rough looking.. And after seeing this ole boy act a fool on here it has steered me well away from them! Thanks for all the input on the BW motors tho! I'll keep you guys updated on the new motor!
