Thursday night I broke a drive shaft. Apparently the universal rode up on the motor side and allowed the top bearing to come out and apart and the shaft broke. Anyways question is... Is there a way to remove and replace the top bearing collar on the longtail? Haven't had a chance to tear it apart to see if the collar is scarred up, but if it is what are my options?

If your talking about where the bearing and seal set is in it's called the housing. In that case you heat the housing up near the drive shaft tube and using a pipe wrench work it back and forth while tapping it off the tube. They use some sort of adhesive on it.
