 Re: Mikuni kit, buyer beware
The rods are different even if just by a micrometer. That is enough to keep sheering the key and cause more damage just because they look identical to your eyes doesn't mean anything. And when gator tail told me what the deal was I will believe them all day over you or rob when it comes down to their motor. The guy even said you can't tell by looking at them but they are just enough different to cause the problem I had.

The great thing is it don't really fuking matter! Though I myself usually throw a smiley in first to show I'm laughing at the previous or quoted post and follow with a smiley/lol to show I'm laughing or joking!

Only 5 pages? If this would of been MB that did this, the thread would be at least 12 pages by now.

 Re: Mikuni kit, buyer beware
Just me speaking out loud, it's good business sense not to get on this thread and get caught up in all the drama. I have seen a couple other instances where this sort of thing has taken place on MMT with a sponsor. The sponsors that have always managed to come out of these things (somewhat) unscathed were the ones that refrained from the mudslinging. (Pun intended)
First rule of any service/product oriented company has always been, "The Customer is always right." (No matter how wrong he is). I wouldn't know Rob from the next guy that passed me on the street. Never done business with him, either. One of two things will happen, here. He and dwhite will resolve this issue outside of the public forum. If this doesn't get resolved between the two, dwhite will never be a repeat customer, Rob may lose a potential customer or two from this instance, the thread will die and it will long be forgotten.
Rob may have a large enough customer base and following that he has done good by to overshadow one instance in their eyes.
If I were in Rob's position, I would take one of those two options.
Sent using Morse Code from my not so smart phone.
