Looks great. Go with what works. Like you said, make what you have work. Yes it would be nice to go out and buy a new mud hull but if you don't have the extra money laying around then you make what you have work until you can get something better. Thanks for the review.

Thanks Guys its working well for sure and the raising of the Tiller handle for my 6'5" height is a back saver
Season is a lil slow right now just one drake can today. I should of took a pair but didnt want to end
the fun.. then the FUN SHUT OFF!!!! but boat is running good. if i start off in shallow get up on plane
and keep on going is all fine, when you start deep it struggles a bit. Still waiting for someone to
hunt with me to get some more weight in the FRONT! the dog doesnt like to ride up there.

Lil video of todays only bird....

Hell I'm in similar shape but with an even smaller boat. 1442 alumacraft with a mini 23, first mm rig. I'm a big ole boy myself, 6'3" 350lbs. Took it on its maiden voyage and don't think it'll plane no matter what I do, pods or not lol

Dave these internet experts are going to tell you that you are doing it wrong, because that is what their wives and gril friends tell them during sex.

Your hard blind add's a lot of wind resistance that is why you see a loss of speed.

If you had a GD you could change pully's for the hunting season and deal with the loads better. Pods don't only add displacement they move the weight of the motor forward , thats a good thing. I got a 20x60 with a hard blind that hunts great on big ponds and open water . A carb set up and a good muffler would help with your load. My 20x60 would hit 31 with a stage 3 motor, the blind slowed me down to 27, that was just me in the boat add two men still going 25-27.

Im looking forward to spring and try running the mega pod with no blind on and see how she does.
plans to move fuel tank up front also I got an Idea that may work for my set up and not get in the
way. Maybe a smaller tank also but that PD36 is a gas hog with the 10 gallon tank already lol.

It did well better than stock at least. BRING ON SPRING.....

run your tank dry, and try using a portable tank before moving yours. Use a 6 gal tank and extra weight in a 5 gal bucket to mirror what you will put up there. Does the boat run with the bow high? If it does you may want to keep it the way it is, if you travel rough water
