Re: A dog focus on the hunt i have a hunting dog, at the end of the day its mission is to pick up the duck i shoot. running in a straight line like that proves nothing. Just like jason dog would do, he would send the dog where he though the bird was shock the shit out of him to keep sending where he THOUGHT it was. If your dog is like his and eliminates all natural instincts it struggles in the water. the bird isnt always were it landed or you though you seen it land.
like i mentioned above lets put them to the test in a REAL hunting environment and i bet u leave with your foot in your mouth at the end of the trip and your dog sad bc she never left the boat...
