 GTR shaft removal? Are y'all having to loosen the engine mount bolts and temp shim motor to allow enough play in the belt to get the shaft housing out?

GTR shaft removal? I find it easier to pull reverse and transmission and just slip off belt on top. Therefore it's easy to reset bottom when re installing

GTR shaft removal? X2 but yes still loosen motor mounts don't have to loosen a whole lot at all

Re: GTR shaft removal? Another question.....
What am I missing here, trying to pull the lower belt gear off so I can access the bearing and seals. I have removed the allen bolts and she is not budging.
Any tips would be appreciated before I start beating it with a hammer. Thanks!

Push the gear off the taper lock?

Re: GTR shaft removal? Alright got the lower unit back together and ready to put back on. Just need to pull tran/rotor for belt slack and really not sure how...do i start with removing the bolt in center of rotor?

Re: GTR shaft removal? Center bolt comes out, pull planetary out then five or six Allen heads to remove other section of planetary, pull belt off. Locktite during reassembly
