Was great meeting David (Frog), his brother, and Brian (IBFishin) last night at the Lakeport Chapter Ducks Unlimited Banquet.

I left $600 poorer and didn't win a single thing int he Sportsman's Raffle but it was all for a good cause. Good to meet those guys and IBFishin's better half.

We should do a a ride now that the season is over.

yea it was really good to meet you guys, Y'all were a lot cooler than I thought you would be! Just kidding and I'm not afraid to tell anyone we met online. I didn't take quit as big of a beating as you did. I think my brother got a lanyard and a seat cushion to the tune of $400.00. Good Time, looking forward to next year.

Great meeting you guys as well. I left with a $300 camo backpack (retail value 19.95). Had a good time though. We definitely need to get together for a ride. I have one more weekend left. My son wants to take a friend or two of his hunting on youth weekend.

I believe they also sell Av Gas and 90 Rec, Frog. I wish it were closer; it truly is a one-stop shop.

There isn't even a place in Lakeport that sells ethanol fuel and shiners at the same place, much less 90 Rec or Av Gas.

The youth hunt produced no ducks but we looked duck dynasty. The boys had a blast, just as happy shooting a water lily...so they think.

Fog was bad on the bar. Had about 10 yards of visibility. Was worried about getting blasted by a bass boat going in. The kids were way to busy blowing duck calls to shoot any birds. There was plenty of opportunity. Last night it was on at 5:15 till 5:40. The tree ducks were flying right over the boys in flocks of 20. Never cut a feather. A ton of ringers this morning, but they only have a teal and ringer on the water.

10 yards visibility is about 7 more than we had. Use the gps so I didn't hit the neighbor's dock...we called it the pucker run

The 10 yards was from legal shooting until we made it back to the ramp. Going out was a slow go using gps. There must have been 1000 tree ducks on kings bar today.

we had nothing but woodies come through fast and furious the boys never seen them. Both the boys fell over and was completely drenched, lasted about 45 min and were shivering so bad they couldn't see and wanted to go home. Had a great time, they want to go again tomorrow but I told then that would be poaching and skipping school. The little one said "so who would know"...I'll let you know how it goes

I will be a last minute decision on the 23rd. The wife wants to take the flats boat out the the sandbar in Stuart if the weather is decent. What momma wants momma gets.
