it is a 7/8-9 thread on all gdsd

I'm pretty sure it's 3/4-10..... waiting on confirmation from AKA when he gets around to measuring his.

i have 2 of them and i owned a gdsd they 7/8-9 not trying to be smart ass

aka will have a better measurement than anyone lmao im holding mine in my lap and have the tap stuck in it im broaching it to fit the gtr

I know for fact the Small hp LT 23hp and under had 3/4" shafts the 27-35 lt and sd had 7/8 shafts.
I don't know about the 23 sd

At one time coco had a 23 and a 25 Gdsd that's what this prop was made for it had the same 7/8 thread as the 27-35. He no longer offers those models

aka gd doesnt make the 23 anymore

10-4 they run well its not mine for a buddy trying it out its a 3 blade not a 2 i thought yall was asking about the 3 blade its also a 11x11

3 blade should be 11x12

no 11x11 according to my pitch gage unless it is wrong which i doubt seriously

They are advertised as 11x12 this being the reason u use it one time it's done bc they never measure correctly

yea cuz mine measures 11 pitch

GD Prop history ---- 23 GDSD from 3 to 4 years ago came with a smaller 11x11 2 blade
on a smaller diameter shaft than the 27 and 35 GDSD ---- Then the 23 GDSD had a ratio
change to spin the current GD 3 blade and a larger diameter shaft to thread it onto.....

The GD 3 blade - IMO is an 11x11 pitch (on average) even though GD calls it a 12 pitch - however
all three blades have slightly different pitchs as the prop is a clone of a "one of a kind" hand
crafted custom original that they used as a "master" to manufacture in large numbers.....

The current GD 3 blade also replaced the original true 12x12 pitch GD 2 blade which was made
by Hopkins and was also used widely by PD for several years --- GD made the change due
to the impressive "holeshot" and reduced vibration that the original 2 blade was known for....

The downside to the 3 blade is that it lifts more as it wears down and lifts more when turned
at the higher RPMs seen with modded motors.... But it was not crafted for modded motors
so if your modded you may want to go to the 12x12 or 12x13 Hopkins 2 blade mentioned already...

That's what I thought as well giga but mr aka thinks he know everything which is now apparent he talks out his ass. Just as the gd website says the older small hp engine sd can be retrofitted to use new 3 blade which means bigger shaft different gear

Bingo --- and it is a worthwhile retrofit for the older 23 GDSD MMs too - they run
2 or 3 mph faster and come out of the hole quicker too wearing the current 3 blade....

Y'all mfrs are stupid u and giga should be brothers I sat in cocos office and bought this prop that is listed on his site and he doesn't even sell anymore its a 11x11 2 blade made for his older smaller hp Gdsd that is not even a option any more and it's the same thread as his new 27-35 Gdsd props 7/8 so whose is the dumbfuks

Why did go devil swap to a 3 blade bc he had no way to truely balance a 2 blade as he quit letting Hopkins make his props bc he wanted to keep all of his parts and service in house and didn't want to have to worry about someone going out of business or not providing his parts or props when necessary can't blame him for that one bc Hopkins props are a fukn joke he needs to stick to building outboard props

I'm gonna say you might have a "unique" 11x11 on your hands cause
what I posted above is correct --- had a buddy with the older 23 GDSD
with the smaller shaft and original GD 11x11 that went out on thousands
of the smaller GDSDs.... They had a smaller shaft and different ratio
and you could not just put a 3 blade on it.... End of story....


Oh --- Hopkins was the original contracted builder of the "cloned" master
3 blade GD prop cast from that "master" one of a kind prop too --- BTW

Hopkins is a first class MM prop builder and will customize any of his designs
for you any way you ask him --- outstanding guy and an outstanding prop builder

I have to go with giga they do tend to have differences in blades around a half inch of pitch r so not enough for the average person to see

So his props suk on a mb a gd and gtr why is that the only guys who like them or the guys with pd and they run slower than everyone else so who is the outstanding prop builder

U can't even run Hopkins prop it vibrates so bad and its 2 mph slower with a modded motor than a 3 blade u don't know what ur talking about ur full of shit
