 36 PD Stock - 16 x 48 Alweld
MM Brand: Pro-Drive Horsepower: 36 HP Stock FPR PT&T Boat Brand: AlWeld Boat Size: 16 x 48 Boat Layout: Single Seat – No Flotation
Speeds | Shallow Water: 29.7 New – 1 year later 26.7 Speeds | Deep Water: 28 New – 1 year later 26.7 Total Boat Load With Gear Etc: One Person, 6 gallons gas Conditions Tested In: 50 degree temp, flat water
Comments: Been having it for about 1 year now, no complaints except for lost of speed. Whenever I contacted KP at ProDrive, he has been very helpful. Use it for Duck hunting, drop net crabbing, & Fishing. Duck Hunted in water deep enough to float the decoys, when we parked the boat to hunt, we were not floating and had no problems with shallow water. Ran a mud boat for 30 years, the MM configuration gives you so much more room. Would suggest a MM over a mud boat to anyone ready to buy.

Nice boat..... My guess is your loss of speed is a result of a worn out prop. What rpms you running?

Thanks everyone for the reply's
Tested the governor, 4150 The prop is not worn, running 3910 trimmed to best speed. If I trim up higher, gain RPM - loose speed. The bottom looks OK, but the transom has about a 3/8" dip in it at the engine.

Out of water RPM's should be more around 4350 in neutral warmed up, turn the motor up some. A hook in the hull will cost you speed. Any hooks along the cross ribs? Most likely the hook is you main issue.
