 Re: Led light bars
2 different times i hit some shit in the river and the pucker factor sky rocketed. The hh light didnt pick it up in time and with my speed and the current I just didnt have enough time to react. I dont plan on making that mistake again.

 Led light bars
I didn't think I was gonna like my spot for the river but I have had no issues. Actually I was in river not long ago and a boat had a 20" combo dual row and my 20" single row spot 10w cree's lit up more wider and further then the 20" dr shocked me really

 Re: Led light bars
Those 3x3 big blocks from offroden power sports sound awesome. 8k lumens a piece for $165?? 2 of them should light up the marsh for sure. Anybody know anything about their lights? They good quality? If so I will buy a couple of their big blocks and try them out.

 Re: Led light bars
A little is more than none.... I'm looking at 4" flush mounts to put in on the sides as far forward as I can..... The way the bow pulls in I think I can illuminate enough to see making those tight turns where you can't see what your turning into......

 Re: Led light bars
I was researching amber lights a while back and ran across a study that concluded that amber lights do help in dusty conditions like desert races because the dust is similar color to the amber light so it absorbs the light instead of reflecting it back into your eyes. On the other hand, they concluded that it did not actually help in fog except possibly blinding less simply because they are usually not as bright as white lights. The biggest benefit of fog lamps was simply having them mounted lower so that they were more likely to light up the road and less likely to reflect off of the fog in your face blinding you. As a result, I did not buy the amber lights and try them myself, but I do know that I find it easier to navigate with lower color temperature light than the blueish high color-temperature light thrown by the cheaper light bars (and headlights for that matter). Supposedly the light color temperature affects depth perception. I hate hate hate blue headlamps on cars
