Find a boat you like and have that builder build it. Or call me and if I'm in the area I can help you take the measurements from the hull to create a table of offsets with which to recreate the exact hull. If you want a pointed bow skiff, understand that the question is not will it throw you out but when. High sides might at least give you an opportunity to stay in the boat when it try's to buck you off.

I have a Kliebert duck skiff and it does not like Lillie's. For a boat to split the Lillie's the pointed bow must extend to the water line (aka crawfish skiff).

The more it goes on, the more I'm thinking the o lyrics way to beat the lilies is with more power lol.

I must say that my crawdad may be ugly but a boat built for good looks doesn't always get you home. The crawdad cuts through the Lillie's and thick hyacinth. Cut through this with no problem. Once you got into the middle of it the hyacinth was stacked up atleast a ft high and it cut like a hot knife in butter.

Poke- I run a 1642 crawdad with a 23 backwater. I haven't gotten stuck in lilies but they slow me down quite a bit if they're thick. You're on the right track with the more hp. If you decide to go with a crawdad I recommend ordering direct from weldbilt, you can get a heavier gauge hull and slick bottom if you want.

Some may think that the crawdad is ugly but looks wont get you to the spot you want to get to and back to the launch
The crawdad cut through the lilies with no problem. Matter of fact I cut through a patch off thick double stacked lilies about 1.5 foot tall. Just above a idle. It doesn't ride up on them at all. The crawdad is a tank. I just wish mine was longer is the only thing I'd change

I cut through this with easy. Two sons, myself, fishing gear, two anchors, ice chest and dog. Just over a idle. It we thick and tightly packed in there. Pluse a hard tight right then left towards the nd.
