Hey I ain't ever claimed to be a great welder but I can get it done lol my grinding skills do make it better :lol: but I think I can hold my own compared to some of the boats been welded on this site :grin:

Smoke one is bc it's a double taper hull so and no need for 3/16 sides. Cut down on weight so therefore you get a 3 piece! I agree for stumps but la guys don't built boats really that much for stumps. I have 7 2x2x1/8 square tubing stingers on a 50" bottom

Just because its a 3 piece hull doesn't mean it has to have tapered chines. That has nothing to do with it. This is a square chine boat.
