 Re: Hydroturf
The gator grit y'all are talking about how course is that stuff. I have a G3 CC that I'd like to put hydro turf in but the decks are rougher than 60 grit and the subfloor looks like an orange peel. Curious if it'd stick to it well.

 Re: Hydroturf
If it wouldn't be so expensive I think it'd be cool to gator glide a boat inside and out except for the walking/stepping surface and hydro turf those, that would be an easy rig to keep clean!

Probably leave the GG off the gunnels, grab bar, and any rails and paint those a different color as an accent

 Re: Hydroturf
Robert said he liked to install when it's cool. I'm the complete opposite. Don't want it 100 degrees shining on the aluminum but don't want it much below 65 degrees. 70-80 degrees is about perfect to me for install. Too cold and adhesive doesn't want to stick well and will eventually start coming up.

www.ad-discountperformance.com, it not easy to find but they have free shipping over $150 and the cut groove is only $97 a sheet (47"86) with the 3M backing. Thank me later! Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk

 Hydroturf
What's the best way to take OLD hydroturf off? It was put down by Gator Trax, and I believe they used the adhesive backing turf plus adhesive. I'd imagine it's DOWN pretty good!

 Re: Hydroturf
There is no easy way I have found. Only thing I haven't tried was one of those tile/vinyl floor scrapers but will have to be careful on the rivets

 Re: Hydroturf
Ordered a piece of molded diamond in grey to do the front deck and see if I wanna drop another 240 to do the rest of the boat. We will see how easy this stuff is to put in and I'll put some pictures up when I'm done.

I don't care what you guys say. Trying to get the turf cut right for the front deck around the seat base and hatch is a real PITA!!!
